ABOUT LEO MEIERSDORFF

We possess a large collection and range of styles of Leo's expressive art as he followed jazz though the decades and befriended many of the greats who inspired his art.  Most of our art collection is in storage and only viewable through personal contact. We do try to rotate some of his art prints, posters, and originals through the link at the bottom.

The Leo Meiersdorff Estate has been proudly supporting jazz for various organizations for many years with the use of Leo's art images, especially for the education of young jazz musicians.  His art has been featured prominently as the background art for Miles Davis' Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award, 1990, as well as many jazz album covers.  Recently, the television industry has licensed Leo's art as part of the sets for NBC Universal's "Chicago Fire",  Warner Bros. TV production "The Flash" and for the second season of the CBS TV production of  "NCIS: New Orleans".  Two premier 2015 Jazz Exhibits in California~~ Jazz at Filoli and the 58th Annual Monterey Jazz Festival!
